How do I get an airline to add all of my miles to my mileage?

My husband has flown back and forth from Orlando to Japan. The airline that he is using has only credited him with one thousand miles. It should be in the tens of thousands. How can we get them to add to what he has?

It depends what policy the different airlines have. Most of them will ask you to send info to prove you actually flew (boarding passes with seat numbers, tickets, baggage stubs, bag tags ect). They should have a team of people dedicated to contact partner airlines and asking them for details such as mileage and how many miles to add.

I'd contact the airlines involved and ask for details if you haven't done so already, just to double check what the process is and what documentation is required. Good luck!

You can send fax copies of the boarding passes, and receipt of payment to the airlines with your husband's name and mileage number. Call them first to let the airlines know what is going on...just tell them your husband forgot to give his FF number....it happens ALL the time....and they will give you the fax number to send it to.

Sometimes, depending on airline...there is a lag between travel time...and points posted. Call the airline to see which is which.

My husband ALWAYS, ALWAYS, forgets to give his FF number or his Marriott #....and I want the points so we can take a vacation when he gets still!!!!
