What is the difference between an airline and airport?

What is the difference between an airline and airport?

Please don't just copy and paste from Wikipedia, because Wikipedia assumes that I had a degree in Grammar.

Just explain in a simple, straightforward way.

Airport is a publicly provided service, funded by the government

airlines are like private companies..who fly people from around

for example Qantas is an airline in Australia and Tullamairiene airport is where the land and pick up passanger from

making sense?

Wikipedia assumes no such thing.

AirPORT: A place where planes land and takeoff, and people get on and off planes.

AirLINE: A company that operates airplanes, and charges passengers to fly on them.

See, it's really not hard.

An airport is where you go to check in, go through security and catch the flight.

An airline is the company that uses planes to bring you to your destination.

Joey, an airline is a company that transports passengers or freight for money. An airport is a place where airplanes land, park and take off.

Dan
