and is there an airline that will let you bring a yorkshire terrior on board for free?
If you buy a ticket from southwest.com at least two weeks prior to take off you could get it for A HECK OF A LOT CHEAPER than any other airline. && they do let you bring a dog on board because I brought my boston terrier on board just about a week and a half ago.. And Im actually leaving tomorrow with him again!

I bought a ticket for $89 from southwest exactly two weeks before I was to leave... I checked Expedia, Cheaptickets, Travelocity, etc.. And they were no cheaper than $267.
There are no cheap airlines anymore. You can shop around and do the best you can, but no one airline can be called "the" cheap airline. Most airlines will let you bring your small dog in a carrier under your seat for a fee if you arrange it ahead of time. See the info on pets on the website of the airline you chose or call them and ask. See site below for United Airline's info as an example.
