Check on the different airline and travel agency websites. There are times that it is even lower if you go direct to the airline website. In my recent travel to the Phil. I was able to find the cheapest price of a NWA flight roundtrip at www.bt-store.com.I also find www.vayama.com to offer lower airfare. Another tip, it is cheaper to travel on a weekday than a weekend.
I'm not much of a help, but I heard that tickets are being sold for about $600 each ; I'm just not sure which airline. It's a promo that happens in April, but the thing is, the company books when you leave and when you come back, and I THINK you can only stay for one month. I know it's not very helpful, but yeah. :)

Don't worry about the cheapest airlines, b/c their prices vary all the time. Just focus on comparing all the major travel websites and you will find the best deal. Check out the link below. You can compare all of them from one location, while only entering your search criteria once. Good luck!
Go to a consolidator travel agent in any major city they will have the best prices. Internet prices are NOT the lowest for travel to Asia. Cathay or EVA normally sells toe those types of agents and you would be looking at $900.00 round trip total. You are on the East Coast? If so you will fly out of NYC more than likely and the prices is not that much more that what I pay from the West Coast.
First thing, if u want a cheaper fare, DO NOT fly PAL. Try, KAL, EVA, i don't know about Cathay, in 2006, the most economic i could get was KAL, $2100 for two adults and one child, round trip. The airport in Seoul is nice also, mostly new, for EVA, the airport in Taipei is nice too.
