What health hazards? And privacy issues from scanning?
The only new policy I have heard is a new CrewPASS system which allows flight crew (pilots only) to bypass security. Also the TSA is starting more invasive screening on passengers it is an x-ray machine that can see through clothes... http://studenttravel.about.com/od/planes/f/tsa_backscatter.htm
These are not airline issues, they are Homeland Security/TSA issues.
What makes you think they care as long as you blindly stumble onto the airplane like cattle?
What health hazards? What privacy issues? No one's going to contract a disease by walking 10 feet in their socks.
nver heard of any such proposals from any airline.
